Terms of Use

Last updated: 7 September 2026 · Operator: twodoodles

By using TrailLeaf or this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or site.

The service

TrailLeaf is a pocket animal Journal for real-world discoveries. You Snap what you find, confirm matches into your Journal, and grow your collection. Suggestions can be wrong — you stay in charge. TrailLeaf is entertainment and education — not a scientific authority, medical advice, or a source of foraging or safety advice.

Your responsibilities

User content (Trade Board and shares)

You may post wildlife photos to the Trade Board or as public share cards. Do not post illegal, sexual, violent, harassing, or infringing content, or photos of people without their permission. We may remove listings or unpublish shares that violate these terms. Other explorers can report content in the app; we review those reports. You can block an explorer so their Trade Board offers no longer appear for you. Contact [email protected] if you need help.

Accounts & purchases

Some features use In‑App Purchases (for example Snap packs or TrailLeaf Pro). Purchases are billed by Apple or Google under their terms. Restore purchases through the store or in-app restore flow. Refunds are handled by the platform store unless required otherwise by law.

Intellectual property

TrailLeaf branding, app design, and our content belong to twodoodles or licensors. Species facts and media may come from third-party sources with attribution where required. You retain rights to photos you create; you grant us a license to process and store them to run the service (see our Privacy Policy for details).

Disclaimer

The app and site are provided “as is.” We do not warrant uninterrupted service or accurate identification. Use outdoors at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, twodoodles is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of TrailLeaf. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim (or zero if free).

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, legal risk, or service shutdown. You may stop using the app at any time and request account deletion via support.
